E-mail: anneberns@wi.edu Anne Bernstein is the author of Yours, Mine, and Ours: How Families Change When Remarried Parents Have a Child Together (W.W. Norton, 1990) and Flight of the Stork: How Children Think (and When) about Sex and Family Building (Perspectives Press, 1994). Dr. Bernstein is a Professor at the Wright Institute and a practicing family psychologist and mediator. She is a Charter Member of the American Family Therapy Academy, where she has served as Vice-President, Treasurer and Board Member. A former Associate Editor of Family Process, she is on the Expert Council of the National Stepfamily Resource Center. She has presented nationally and internationally on stepfamilies and has written chapters and articles, for both professional and lay readers, on other nontraditional families and family formation.
