Parent Coach and Mediator
Amy Armstrong has worked with parents and families since 1996 as a parent educator, Certified Parent Coach®, mediator, independently licensed social worker in private practice, and most recently as a parenting coordinator. She co-founded The Center for Family Resolution here in Central Ohio and also serves on the therapy staff at Nemeth Counseling in Hilliard, Ohio.
Amy welcomes collaboration with attorneys and other professionals on all her cases, and serves as a neutral coach and child specialist with families going through the Collaborative Divorce process.
As part of the clinical team for the Overcoming Barriers residential camp in Vermont, Amy provides therapeutic interventions for families experiencing the complex dynamic of child(ren) resisting contact with a parent during or after a high-conflict divorce.
Amy is active on the Family Law Reform Implementation committee of the Ohio Supreme Court, recent past president of the Central Ohio Academy of Collaborative Divorce Professionals. and is incoming president to the Ohio Chapter of AFCC.
