Judith Siegel is a professor at NYU’s Silver School of Social Work. She has been practicing couple therapy for over 40 years and has presented her work throughout the United States and Europe. She has conducted research on narcissistic couples, splitting, and intergenerational trauma, and published over 25 journal articles. Her books include Repairing Intimacy (Jason Aronson), Countertransference in Couple Therapy (Norton), What Children Learn from their Parents’ Marriage (Harper Collins), and Stop Overreacting (New Harbinger). Her books have been translated into over 10 languages. She has appeared on Good Morning America, and served as an expert for advice on parenting and family relationships.
