Sarah is the founder and president of Social Work in Progress (SWiP), which specializes in geriatric and medical social work. She belongs to the American Society on Aging, Boston Bridge, Massachusetts Senior Care Association, the National Association of Social Workers, the Network for Social Work Management, and Unmarried Equality. Sarah holds social work degrees from The Catholic University of America and Washington University in St. Louis. She is also an alum of The Op-Ed Project. Her professional interests in contemporary families pertain to aging, the never married, and unmarried equality.
